Getting your order delivered at a different address is ok with your exsisting account. All new and exsisting accounts require a username, password and email address.
How to order:
Go to restaurants on our home page then select the restaurant(s) you would like to order from. Mutiple restaurants are available with delivery fee's applied from each selected restaurant.
Click on the items you would like delivered with options provided. Example: white rice, brown rice, mac salad, toss salad. Special instructions can be entered in the special instruction box below the item you're choosing. Example: No onions, no cilantro, extra crispy, all rice. We will submit all orders into restaurants excatly the way they are sent to us. Orders that have special request such as, (extra sides, extra cheese, or any items that you have specially requested that have an extra charge, those items will be added and revised into your order and charged).
Check Out:
When you're finished selecting the items you want delivered a shopping cart is available for you to review each item and the cost before paying. Once you are ready to pay (click/tap) on checkout and preceed to payment options.
Fees:
$4.99 is our base delivery fee within 4 miles from restaurants based in Kona, up to $1.00 per mile will be applied after 4 miles
$5.99 is our base delivery fee within 4 miles from restaurants based in Keauhou, up to $1.00 per mile will be applied after 4 miles
4.712% Tax is charged to the food items choosen
Service Fee's are applied to your order for the convenience of our service.
Credit Card Fee's are applied after completing payment and checkout.
Cash payment option is avaiable to select at checkout.
Refunding:
Refunding items or revised orders that total differently from the original cost at the time of customer payment will take upwards of 7-10 business days to be credited back to the same customer credit card that customers use to make their orders. A finalized email will be sent to the email address provided from customers. Note: Revising the total cost from original customer order may or may not incur new charges. Cost of replaced items from customer original order may be higher or lower then the new item. Orders that we recieve that have items no longer available or sold out of items at chosen restaurant(s) and the customer wishes to remove the item(s) without replacing item(s) for any other item(s) will generate a new total with a refund. A new charge will be generated if the customer chooses to replace an item that is more then the item that was originally chosen.
Missing items from orders. Drivers verify their orders at restaurants by the reciept they're given. Customers can call us NOT the restaurant to inform us that there is an item missing. (808-825-8888) Allow us time to sort through the matter. After sorting out what had happend a refund will be issued or your missing item will be delivered. This particular matter will be thoroughly looked into.
Canceled orders can happen. During peek times restaurants have the right to accept or decline orders. Orders that restaurants will not accept will be canceled. A phone call will be made to customers to notify the cancellation. Canceled orders are entitled to a full refund. Once a restaurant declines an order they get blocked for the day, to avoid any further canceled orders.
Incomplete orders that customers submit will be submitted to restaurants by Foods O' Hawaii or customers will get a call from us to revise their order to be correct before submitting orders to restaurants. Please be sure to look over your order before paying and submitting. Revised orders that need to be completed correctly can incur additional charges. Any additional charges will be added and the customer will be re-billed for the difference from the original total. A new receipt will be emailed showing revised item(s) with the new total. Orders that are incomplete that DO NOT have new charges will not change the billing of thoses order. Refunds for incomplete orders are based on the original customer order. Please be sure to look over your order.
Delivery Times:
ETA?, (estimated time of deliverie(s) are based on many factors. Restaurant in-house capacity, traffic, size of order, distance for delivery. Restaurants do quote us a time to pick up orders. Shown ETA'S on our website will be our goal to get your delivery to you by the end of your quoted time or earlier. Orders that are close to the end of quoted ETA will get a follow up call to keep customers informed. After your order(s) are placed an automated email will be sent that shows your (approximate time). After placing an order a real time ETA TIMER will show the destinations of your driver for more of an accurate time of delivery. Most restaurants are equipped with electronic tablets that we send orders to, restaurants do have the ablity to block themselves off if their busy with in-house dining or short on staff during peek hours.
Advanced ordering is available. On the home page there are two options, deliver now or deliver later. A calander and time slot page will ask what time and day you would like your delivery by selecting deliver later. Please use deliver later if you're wanting a larger order delivered. Prep time at restaurants could cause a delay for delivery with larger orders. Large orders are commonly $200.00-$400.00. If we see that your large order will be delivered past your ETA (estimated time of arrival), we will call customers at the phone number provided with your order to make any updates if necessary. Choosing deliver now for your order will prompt us to get your order delivered now and not for a later day and time. Concluding customers deliveries will be as close as possible to asking time. Give us a call to confirm if you want to. We will be happy to speak to you and confirm with you that we have or have not recieved your order. Please stay close to your phone until your order has been delivered.
Customer Pickup is available for limited restaurants. If you choose pick-up that means you're ordering from our website but you're going to pick-up the order yourself. You are NOT responsible to pay when you pick up your food. We will make a follow up call to customers with the phone number provided on their order. Pick up times are also determined by how busy restaurants are. If your order is not picked up, no refund will be issued based upon the expense of the restaurant preparing the food. Double check your pick-up order before leaving the restaurant to reasure you have all your items. Pick up advanced ordering is also available. Please stay close to your phone until your order has been picked up.
Quality:
All drivers are equppied with restaurant quality CAMBRO boxes to ensure the freshness of our deliveries. Cambro is a highly recognized restaurant equipment brand that has improved over the years to provide light weight, durable equipment. Part of our mission for our drivers is to arrive at restaurant(s) before orders come out of the kitchen to provied you the same or near close experience as if you're dining in. We do cover a larger range of locations for our deliveries. These Cambro hot boxes have proven themselves delivery after delivery. All drivers are also uniformed with work shirts and hats with our business name and logo to represent each restaurant and our delivery service professionally.
Our Drivers:
Drivers use their personal vehicles which are not labled with any delivery signs or lights. Drivers also perform care of their own vehicle such as matainance and Hawaii State requirments for DOT (department of transportation). We continue to put saftey first to all drivers for everyones safety. Drivers do see customer(s) name(s) addresses, phone numbers and food items. They use an auto generated gps to find locations by addresses provided by customer(s). No other personal infomation is provided to drivers. All special notes are read by drivers. Example: please call upon arrival. Driver tips, if a tip is not left at the time of placing your order your driver will get a signature and a tip option if you choose to tip at the time of your delivery. 100% of the tip goes to the drivers. Tipping drivers at the time of delivery will still go to your driver, a new reciept will be emailed with the complete total including the tip amount that will be (re-billed as a seperate charge).
